When shopping at Macy's

Is it me or does every mens department in Macy's in this country have 60+ year old guys who take their job extremely serious and show the professionalism of a doctor or lawyer?


I was in there last night after work buying a shirt and jeans and they treated me like a G.O.D. Its not often you get above average customer service in retail.

Prior to that i was in the record shop trying to find the new Hell Razah and asked the burn-out 30 yr old hippie if it was in yet, and while we were in the middle of a conversation a bunch of scum bag kids came in and sold him a refurbished digital camera right in the middle of when he should of been responding to my question or request to check.


I should've got that Phish head liberal demoted from his register position for that little stunt.

Macy's is my favorite department store. I buy the majority of my button-down long-sleeved casual shirts there, as well as the occasional polo or sweater.

For the most part, I have found their service to be friendly and efficient, although once, an older salesman there who looked vaguely like morgan freeman tried way too hard to get me to a sign up for a Macy's card, to the point where I had to take a tone with him and say politely but firmly, "Look, I don't want a Macy's card. I'm not worried about the savings. I just don't want one"
