The Discovery

October nights hasten, the sight passes
Darkness to a man who's insight flashes in tight rations
Clarity breached normality- the essence of wit
Purged his mindstate as ignorance lessened its grip
Receding the mud of the mind, he must have defined
Pacifism, but through time, he turned to slugs to defy
Now he's disbanded and can't stand it, disorderly lines
Embroidered with wine- drunk off a quart of his lies
From there sparked a new page- the end of his strife
Visualized the first day of the rest of his life
A new conception of perception- models of time
The fourth dimension everchanging with new mortals confined
The old pass, unseated by blasts or natural cause
Only repetition is constant in the statutes and laws
Of the uni-verse, 16 breaks till a repeat
He saw three of these novel stories- each to the same beat
Realized in each of them his own self did belong
Built the bridges in between and found himself in a song
