^^ Exactly, and it's just nice to play a CD from front till back like in the good ol' days when you couldn't rip it.

I honestly don't really buy hip hop anymore, simply because i can't handle buying shit that sucks, and i don't trust hip hop artists really.

I still buy a far number of albums a month though.

No I don't buy albums anymore simply because I cannot afford them anymore. I have a large collection of music but that was when I had cash rolling in, now I rely on downloading shit, but not that much, 1 album every so often. I usually stick to my oldish Hip-Hop anyway.

I buy them but very rarely. last 2-3 years I been coming out of the shops with bags of the shit. Now I feel I got most of the stuff I need.

Plus the money I used to spend on CDs is now going towards single malt scotch.

I used to buy a lot in the last few years.

I have some other things to do with my money right now so I buy less cd's, still like 6-10 a month I think.

I've got most of the old mc's cd's I like so it's mostly keeping up.

Recently I decided to wait a few months after the cd's are out to get it for half the price and eBay is my new friend.

Hell yeah I buy albums still. Pretty much any new release can be ordered online for $15 or so. Thing is...everything new sucks! I listen to early to mid 90's hip-hop mainly so I'm always in the stores buying the "used" cd's for $7-8 a pop. It's a healthy addiction for me...

LOL. Pro are you an Alcoholic??? Not even trying to be funny... I am serious... are you addicted to drinking?

I enjoy 3-4 drams of scotch a week in the late evening (3-4 ounces a week). If I were an alcoholic, I would be drinking a cheap neutral distilled spirit such as vodka around the clock every day. Trouble is the mello, well aged in oak barrels, complex tasting spirits cost a little bit more and I need a variety.

Its the drink of choice when I'm buy myself, coming home after a long day on a cold winters night (yesterday was the first snowfall but it melted today) sitting by the fire (not really) and listening to some Miles Davis - Kind of Blue (or O.C. Word...Life)

Lesson #2: The variety of types of glass/crystal ware Pro uses with his sippin scotch for different tastes and nosing.

But yeah I had to destroy my CD budget to support my snobby old man type hobby.

downloading dont satisy me. i need the real thing. the album cover, the booklet, the cd, etc. But i only buy cds if they are really good. i wont buy a cd for 2-3 songs. i buy a cd if i like the majority of it.

i buy albums more often than I buy food prolly... nah but i fucking love my record collection and that shit is growing rapidly, mainly buying quality shit and catching up on classics though - rarely buying any new shit unless it's real dope.. bought Diamond D, GZA, Thug Angelz, Nas and maybe some more out of the new releases this year and will put up the cash for the new D.I.T.C. lp next month.. been thinking bout coping the new Heltah Skeltah or Madlib too though.

i find myself buying most of the older shit i didn't have ... hip hop produces lots of garbage thesedays and i will only buy from an artist i really like without having previously heard it ... i'm not spending hard earned money for cunts music they just put out blatantly to get a buck without putting any effort in ... if i'm spending money i atleast want a effort ya dig?

I buy about 1-2 albums a month. Its not financially possible for me to be buying every album from every artist I like, but I try my best to show support. Over the past three months, I bought GZA, Immortal Technique, Ill Bill, Heltah Skeltah, and Black Milk.
