Oh shit, Jedi Mind sold more than Purple City, I thought for sure they would sell more due to her affiliation with that wack ass Dipset. As for Jedi Mind that's a good thing to see.

De La Soul's Grind Date not even 100 000 sales!!?? This was one of the best releases from last year!!
Quasimoto at 16 000??? Damn, i thought Madlib had more followers.. dude is a genius

I would be curious to know how many records those guys sold in Europe...

Decka
06-14-2005, 04:02 PM
im almost sure black market milita sold more then 3000 in europe, like ireland only have a population of 5million maybe a little less and i know for a fact at least 15 copies were sold in dublin alone, cause everytime i went ionto a shop to get it it was sold out, and like tower records and hmv were sellin it, such a shame that only sold as much as it did. that must of been a let down for the black market.

oh my god black market milita only scanned 2,873! Oh my god how Wow, gay ass Sage Francis blew them away. WTF?????????????

All that hard work some of these artists put in and move hardly anything. After Priest split that dough up, everyone probably lost a few G'z putting that out.

when will time change all this??? why must mindless music be popular now?????
How many people really WANT time to change all of this? A lot of the appeal of the underground is its exclusivity. As soon as someone tries to make something that appeals to the masses, the underground fans all cry sellout.

Thats the truth..if its one good thing about being a major they will get your shit out to the masses...albeit the wrong audience..doing 106&park with that corny ass AJ. If its one person I hate other that 50 it gots to be that mutherfuck.

Look i dont care what anyone says black market SHOULD have sold more than what they did! Who would call them sellouts if their album sold like 50,000. simply listen to it and you would know the are like the opposite of a sell out.
