I was just about to buy it (on the PS3)... but its not worth this much #(

lol apart from the £999.94 that's not a bad price. It's £34.99 for the normal version and £49.99 for the game of the year version

hell no, it's not that good

I don't think it could compare to war games like Operation Flashpoint for instance, that just shits and all of these new war shooters

I rather play my OPF GOTY version with 210 hours of singleplayer playingtime [with all the loading after my deaths included], I played the game 210 hours the first time [you get better the second time you play, and believe me, u return to that shit yeah]

Whats up with Amazon, I found a one of them selling a DVD of Sarah Marshal for something like £50 and the other ones underneath were going for about £4 or £5.

Is that someone just taking the piss or something??

It's good, but not that good. Operation Flashpoint??? Ghost Recon: GRAW is on the same level easily.

And let's talk only about war shooters =)

Now, if u made a mix between Brother in Arms, Call of Duty 4 and add a much better physics engine....that would work a lot better.

The problem is that developers don't have balls anymore....even Bioware :(

They need to make a Call of Duty for some different wars tho...How many WWII ones are they going to make?

They need some WWI games where you and a team have to cross no man's land and infiltrate the enemies trenches or something.

Or do some shit from the Napoleonic era, etc.

i agree with this.

they have exhausted WW2 so much, i mean are they going to make up WW2 stories just to make new ones??

I think some crazy old school fighting would be interesting. WW1 would be good, even like napoleonic fights would be crazy like NT just mentioned,
what a difference that would make.


or just do another modern one, there are at least a few conflicts to choose from ahemm.

actually WW1 isn't as interesting as the second one, as this one was 98% going on....well, with the opposite lines being still

WW2 games could be more interesting if they made them more realistic, with a better story [at least better dialogues between fights, showing weaknesses or what can war do to a man]...plus if they try to make more different type of missions...those COD/MOH type of gameplay were u kill 9999 germans in one battle get boring.......

PLUS, the main thing, better UI....and more free gameplay, with more path choices and so on....something for variety

they only made it a WW game cos they went back to the developers of COD3. COD6 is gonna be another modern warfare game with a decent games engine.

I still play COD4 online a year after buying it..i've NEVER played a game that long.

like Broken Sword, a game from 1996, I play it every year....same with HalfLife2, which I complete at least twice a year.

Counterstrike is a must nowadays too [ok, not so much the last week]
