damn it's too fucking hard to narrow it down to just ONE song... "That White" by Fat Joe definitely needs a mention, "Gangsta Boogie" by Pete Rock/Slum Village, "Profits of Man" by Killah Priest and "Experience" by Show & AG.

Lmao, ignorance is bliss I guess...

anyways
Chords - Luckiest Man Alive
vs.
Planet Asia & DJ Muggs - Lions in the Forrest (ft. B-Real)
vs.
Bambu - Seven Months
vs.
T.H.U.G. Angelz - South Brooklyn (The Anthem)

depends what mood I'm in, all 4 are masterpieces in their own way.

Queens Get The Money

Definately

Queens Get The Money - NaS
State Of Emergency/Game's Pain - The Game
Swagga Like Us - T.I. and Jay-Z Ft. Kanye West and Lil Wayne gets good rotation
Brooklyn Go Hard - Jay-Z isn't bad

There isn't a lot of albums that came out this year that I purchased

Lupe's album was released in 2007 :)

I gotta mention GZA feat. True Master - Colombian Ties.

It's one of the best tracks in GZA's career and the Bronze beat was a surprise.

Superstar was released as a single in '08 and yes prob a large chunk of Pro Tools deserves to be mentioned here. :b
