Pete Rock & CL Smooth
All Souled Out
Mecca & The Soul Brother
The Main Ingredient

Lord Finesse
Funky Technician
Return of the Funky Man
The Awakening

Showbiz & AG
Runaway Slave

See i was thinking bout 2 of those , MOP and Pete Rock, but I didnt feel all 3 of the albums were that great.

All 3 albums have to be great, there can be a weak link or it doesnt work.

Theres not many artists who have done that.

My picks are -

Wu
Outkast
Wayne
Kanye
Mobb
Beastie's

Simply because all 3 albums were solid with no faults. Common was close but One Day itll all make sense was a bit boring at times. So its tough.

It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back

Ice Cube
Straight Outta Compton (not sure if that counts)
AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted
Death Certificate
The Predator

A Tribe Called Quest
People's Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm
The Low End Theory
Midnight Marauders

i still think that the albums i listed where all 3 incredible strikes from these artists, but the first Pete Rock/CL Smooth is just a 6-track EP so it doesn't really add up...

Showbiz & AG has one of the most powerful strikes imo, you should check them out if you haven't listened to them yet Ghostlaced cuz i think you'd enjoy them.

A Tribe Called Quest had a great run also but personally i think "Beats, Rhymes & Life" is iller than their debut (despite having less certified classics).

Yeah but crews dont count yo lol. Thats just getting a bit ridiculous. You could start picking out albums from all over tha place.

You start including crews your taking away from the achievments of real acts like Outkast and Beastie Boys so on.

^^ yeah i know what you're saying and i don't think we should include it in this thread either but i gotta say that i think the 3 classic Wu-solo's are just a big achivement from The RZA personally as any other group/artist mentioned.

Clear winner? on what planet? You have no credibility when you make outlandish statements like this. None of these albums are considered classics.
