I was watchin shit on the tv about northern ireland, and there would probably still be a war on here if it wasnt for him. Honestly i dont really know if he done much for america, but for the simple fact that he came over to ireland quite a lot to get peace in northern ireland, he deserves respect.

Dude was overrated if you ask me.

ALot of what is going on with the economy right now is a result of some of his decision in his second term.
Shit like outsourcing and bank deregulation.

those things have NOTHING to do with the current situation.

deficit spending- 2 simultaneous wars with blank chex

real estate banking- basically allowing a form of organized gambling on loan defaults that snowballed into a crisis.

poor funds management-those nuhfuckkas "lost" $9 Billion have no idea where 9 billion went.

tax cuts- that did not do what they were supposed to do. regan proved that trickle down never gets to the bottom. the rich just get richer. but for some reason we decided to do it again in exchange for a fuckin stimulus check.

The current economic woes do have a lot to do with deregulation which occurred under Clinton.

Greenspan is probably more to blame, but yeah, Clinton didn't leave the nation in particularly good economic shape (regardless of the meaningless surplus term being rolled out by certain people)

Style's articulation in relation to economics and finance is so poor.

I mean, i know very little on the subject, but he is completely clueless.

(see his elucidating youtube videos about the IMF, they will dazzle)

by deregulating the banks (something which was done before clinton and moreso since the 1930's when regulation started) he set in motion the bank loans and the whole subprime housing loans phenomenon that hit us.
Outsourcing began with Nixon in a big way witht he opening of trade with china, but as a Dem, I thought it was bullshit that Clinton would go along with that type of thing anyway.

im not an expert on this subject but i have had discussions about it with people who know things about this subject, and they point to clintons second term as a start of this current problem.

I don't think that military spending has anything to do with bank loans tho. I think they tried to do alot of things that seemed liberal and progressive but ended up backfiring and reminding us why these measures were put in place to begin with.

Yeah, the fusing of corporate and investment banking etc. etc.

Glad Tooch said something, because i can sadly only get to Gav through pm now.

And Gav's equation pretty much demonstrates he has no idea what he's talking about.

Clinton = Surplus = Did nothing wrong = Wins

Bush = Deficit = Did everything wrong = Loses
