usually ppl focus on the sounds being made, but those sounds wouldn't be music if there wasn't an almost equal and often greater amount of silence inbetween them

like the silence is an instrument. the most important instrument.

listen to the silence of a song. it'll flip your dick.

if possible imagine noise where theres silence and silence where there's noise.

a friend of mine told me this.

And TSA, I agree, which is why tracks that tries on too much at once often becomes annoying and wack.

^^ co-sign to the fullest, for example I wasn't feeling U-God's "Mr. Xcitement" much at first but then I tried to bump it with zero volume and DAMN what a classic yo!
