Chicago is crazy because to an exent even to this day dusties(old school r&b) and house gets more play than hiphop. in the past that was overwhelmingly the truth. this is why most chicago mcs styles clearly diff from other regions.



Common and Twista been holdin it down but Kanye is 1st Chi "super artist". then you got new cats like lupe but the chi wasn't always known for rap music.
