Which of these 2 top-producers produced the best 3-album strike in that period.. these 6 albums are nothing short of classic material in my opinion, especially production-wise and it's a damn tough choice.. Rock's material around this time was alot more soulful and bass-heavy while Preem was on some ruffer shit.

The albums I'm lining up is:

Gang Starr - Hard to Earn
Jeru The Damaja - Sun Rises in the East
Group Home - Livin' Proof

Pete Rock & CL Smooth - Main Ingredient
InI - Center of Attention
Deda - The Original Baby Pa

Damnnnn thats a fukin hard decision to make considering these albums are all classics in my eyes but I would have to go for Pete Rock even though I prefer Preemo and this is because The Main Ingredient is one of my fav hip hop albums plus he production is so damn fucking smooth on these albums its fukin dopeeeeeee.

Whats funny is that outta those 6, both producers worked with at least ONE shitty rapper/MC's. Primo's flaw was Group Home, Pete's was Deda (god awful) so thankfully there even on that. Imma say Pete though, CoA & MI are 2 fucking great

As much as I love Pete Rock I had easy choice here. '94-'95 for Premo were easily best years for any producer ever.

Def Preemo.

For the Jeru album ALONE.

and stop compare premo of 90-95 with other producers!!!
he was by far the best producer of that era

^^ by far is a stretch, Pete Rock was definitely showing off with all his remixes and 12" shit.. RZA dropped 6 classic albums in this same time too.

but it wasn't enough to compare them with premo, 90-95 is the main reason why he is the best producer off all time
