I have and always use the Corel Paint Shop Pro programs for editing and gfx... I've never used PhotoShop but I keep hearing it's better and I should switch... anybody else think so... & if so, why?

Adobe without a doubt. I've used corel at school a little and it doesn't come close to photoshop

they are two completely different types of software.

corel(draw) is vector based, photoshop(adobe is the brand) is based around bitmaps.

so... ps is good for web stuff, while coreldraw is good for printing.

i used to design and manufacture signs. we used corel.

I don't have DRAW, I have PaintShopPro X2, It's the Corel version of Adobe's photoshop I guess but it's just as good if you ask me. I also still use my GIMP sometimes. lol.
