i grew up in Chicago
CHI winter gully> PIT winter Gully
cuz chi has the -40 degree hawk that will blow thru your snowsuit and dump a foot of snow into your draws.
i bet if an alberta clipper hit your tearjerker asshole you'd pucker up and turn inside out.
hahahahaaa
i remember walking to school in waist deep snow.
but here.... if there is a dusting or even a forecast, school is out.
we have no salt trucks or plows. these dumb fuckers dump sand on the road.
plus people have zero snow driving experience.
i bet there are at least 10 mutlicar accidents today
3 inches might as well be 3 ft.

Average snowfall in inches
Pittsburgh = 43.0
Chicago = 38.5
I just like proving you wrong. Pittsburgh is directly over the jetstream most of the time, Chicago is north of it.

The coldest temperature ever recorded in Chicago is -27°F (-33°C) on January 20, 1985, with a wind chill of -83°F (-64°C).
i remember that year...they told people do not go outside and if you do do not wear jewelry cuz it will freeze to your skin.
cold wind =The HAWK.
i looked up record low for PIT...it just said "eh... it wasn't so bad"

hahaha @ snow envy, cool when it happens but I can do without. no shoveling the driveway for an hours before I go to work. Style's right though, people in the south can't drive for shit in icy/snowy weather. I could make it to work fine cuz I understand the whole physics of it but I'm out there with essentially 3000 unguided missles? fuck that
they're smart to shut shit down
I'll smoke bowls, drink beer and maybe make some chilli on those days. :lmao:

actually, toochski, style was talking about how much worse winters are in chicago than they are in pittsburgh. beautifulrock was the one defending the burgh by saying that it's colder and we get more snow here than in chicago. i just had to add that we also have steep streets. for example, canton ave. in pittsburgh is the steepest street in the world.

i like how chicago's claim to fame is they have wind. everybody from chicago is so tough because it's a little extra breezy there.
"you don't know what it was like growing up in chi-town. we had it rough. my hat was always blowing off. everytime it rained i would open up an umbrella and it would turn inside-out. one time my homework fell out of my hand and i had to chase it 3 blocks. everytime i bent over to pick it up the wind would blow it just a little further away."
