recently i found my lava lamp from the 90's and decided to get a new bulb for it, so i took the old 40w bulb into the hardware store, found the exact (i think) bulb bought three, then proceded home to lighten up my life with the stoner item of the century, but after a few hours i noticed the lava rissing to the top and doing nothing more.

i decided to leave it for a day and see if it started its natural flow but nothing, the lava just sits at the top mocking me.

i have looked at some sites and noticed that there are different types of bulbs - i am currently using a 40W E14 240V P45 FR Phillips bulb with the frosted glass. anyone know where im going wrong ? it cant be dead. lava lamps live for ever!

im getting stonned friday night, i wish to have it "going" by then. PEACE.
