planet asia? did he come out in the 2000;s if so id put him up their, shad from canada is pretty sick as well, dont know that many rappers that came out in the 2000s, but kanye early on really impressed me. The clipse is awesome, their affil roscoe p coldchain is sick as well.

o i gottainclude corey gunz, mad props to the dude, hes spittin hot fiyah, mickey factz is not bad either although the only thing i herd from him is that free with corey and IMO he outshined gunz.

I won't say anything about the underground, cuz I can talk for hours.

But mainstream - Malice and Pusha. Also Lupe.

^^^^^^I think the Clipse are better. But otherwise, if we include the underground scene, everything changes.

Blu, Shad, Cannibal Ox [yeah, Vast A was on that Aesop album in the nineties, but Can Oh emerged in 2001], Bronze Nazareth [for sure], Wale [altho he is really getting into the mainstream now, which is a good thing], Pseudo Intellectuals, Insight, Panacea, Sage Francis [well, his first album is 2002, so this should count], ...

I cant think of one talented mc to come out this decade, not even one.

IT is the closest but his career was irrelevant after Vol. 2.

^dont mind that post. I forgot about this man:

Jin.

he's probably the most genuine mc ever. coming off the dome genuinely and keeping it true to hiphop.

Clipse will be the most acclaimed artists, here.
Considering 80% of us are Cuban linx-stans.
Don't deny it.

There is gonna be no real debate, Clipse takes this one. I like lupe he definitely got some talent. Somebody mentioned Wale, I dont think he can count yet cuz he hasnt even dropped an album but dont sleep on him, Attention Deficit is his debut and its supposed to be out before summertime

please please explain whats so horrible about lupe? is it the fact that he is absolutely ridiculous with his word play? is it that he's easily the smartest most sophisticated rapper out yet still makes hits? is it the fact that he's the first totally unique artist to drop in years?

for some reason i highly doubt that you've ever even heard food & liquor.
