i don't feel like putting him in any list, but he's better than most of the MCs that came out around the late 80s. he's underrated because of his success out of hip-hop, but honestly, he's got skills and he's made classic songs.

i'm not saying he's up there with the greats, but he's nowhere near wack.

To be honest rappers don't have to be lyrical for me to like them and I don't think I can judge him by that. I listen to the lyrics but I don't analyze them.

I think he would be top 75 in terms of favorite rapper since there's so many others I like.

I wouldnt rank him in a top anything

but you cant deny that hes got catchy tracks and i think everyone knows the words to the Fresh Prince theme song, word for word lol

lyrically i wouldnt rank him but he has great impact in the game dont forget guys he was one of only a handful of rappers who boycotted the grammys so other rappers can b included...he's a legend and a pioneer in my eyes
