This has probably been done a trillion times but I am always interest in other peoples views.
The way I look at it is you could only keep 5 of ur cd's what would they be

Heres mine with reasons although it changes from time to time

Nas - It was written
The most underated album in hip hop history. Nas's flow and lyrics are untouchable on this cd. The beats get alot of critisism, for me there aint one weak beat. Also Nas is coming always gets slagged off, if it was released present day it would be hailed as a classic track.

Raekwon - Only built for cuban linx
This is such a special album. Every one rips the mic on this album. So many great verses its unreal, also I think Rza's production peaked on this cd.

Snoop - Doggystyle
My first hip hop album and still one of the best. Brilliant party record that flows great. Can't think of an album that is as complete in that way. Nothing breaks up the flow from start to finish. the pinacle of G Funk.

Makaveli - 7 day theory
Tupac rapped from the heart. This is straight from his pain dark gritty and brilliant.

Wu Tang - Wu Tang Forever
Deep deep album that my appreciation is still increasing for. Best double album in hip hop

These are all my opinions just though

New millenium classics are few and far between but mine are

Ghostface killah - supreme Clientele

Nas - Stillmatic

Those albums are fairly even wikth Stilmatic maybe just edging it

Masta Killa - No said date

In my view the last classic Wu albm

The Clipse - hell have no fury

Great flow and delivery as well as banging beats

Jay-Z - The Blueprint

Maybe not his best lyrically, but a classic never the less

honourable mention GFK - Fishscale

If they had cut 3 or 4 songs this would have been a stone cold classic, also
a couple Rza beats would have made me happy
