I had no idea. I knew that these were cartoon noises but I didnt know he built whole tracks out of the diff scenes. shit is sick.

This ain't cartoon but I'mma post this anyway, I just found this.

What I like about DOOM is that he not only samples this stuff but is also a big fan of this. I read before that guys like DOOM, Madib, etc, would hook up VHS' to their TVs and record commercials that had stuff they thought they could sample. It's obvious these rappers like DOOM & MEF, Tony Starks get their ideas from comics & cartoons sometimes. If Madlib can use a Fisher Price turntable with a sampler in Brazil to make a classic like Madvillian then the only obstacle in making dope beats would be a person's creative limits.

um they kinda took operation doomsday off the shelf forever because of the samples he used ... thats kinda why an original pressing costs upwards of 200 bucks
