3G Or Not 3G

I hear a lot of people saying the 2g iPhone is better then the new 3G one. I currently have the 8gb 2g but a very nice offer came to me today where i can possibly get the 3G 8gb for 250.


Anybody with a Unlocked 3G? ...Feel free to elaborate.
