The RIAA and MPAA lobbied in congress to make the major Broadband providers like AT&T, COMCAST, AND VERIZON to start taking responsibility in monitoring file sharing. I think only AT&T agreed to. Your ISP (which looks like a small one probably leases their equipment or fiber.

It was supposed to be a graduated response plan where consumers get 3 strikes. I think a written notice, then maybe one more + phone call, then a court date on the 3rd strike.


LOL good luck. People in Sweden and the UK have it worse.
