what are good, user-friendly, afforadable starter level production kits?


I like the look of the MV-8800, but i want something cheap, so when i get frustrated and give up i havn't wasted a wad of cash

Just get a midi controller keyboard (can be gotten for like 100 bucks) and some software (cubase, ableton live, Reason..etc -- 200-400 retail but you know you'll be able to find it pirated).

Or just get Fruity Loops Studio.
