This movie is fucken awesome. David Lynch may well be God.

There's a whole series of the rabbits shit. It's called Rabbits, appropriately. I think there were 6 episodes, each about 6 minutes long. If you sat there analysing it for days you might be able to make something of it, but otherwise it is completely fucken random. Still pretty cool though.

ya i know about Rabbits, more or less...the part of this movie that freaked me out beyond belief was when they show Nikki with that scary face projected onto her own....jesus...then what looked like blood, poured out of it...wtf.

Yeah it's a pretty full on experience watching this film. If you become engrossed in it, it'll fuck with you.

this may be the most purely bizarre movie lynch has directed since eraserhead

and one of the most stunning films ever shot on digital video.

ya the fact that it was video made it wierder, still good.

^^^i think it was a smart move to shoot it that way, it gave everything this sheen of hyperreality that made the surreal stuff have even more of an impact; spike lee also used it to great effect in bamboozled.

agreed^ i tried finding this and Eraserhead on DVD in Virginmega...but that shit is closing so...theyre sold sold. both of em.

the scene near the beggining with the creepy old polish lady is a masterpiece in of itself, laura dern's reactions are great, the whole vibe of that scene was so lifelike as far as dealing with insane people's non sequitirs
