i guess there are some germans in here, who are also listening to some german stuff. auch wenn von ac und den beginnern nichts mehr kommt und von samy nur noch scheiße, momentan kommt wieder ein bischen hoffnung auf. z.b. kaas, tone, tua und umse.

I heard only Sido and... he is good. I listen sometimes aggro berlin too.

aggro berlin destroyed german hip-hop. glad, that they split up.
wack mc's!

Sido is a dope lyricist, and my favorite might be D-Bo (Erstguterjunge).

06-15-2009, 01:28 PM
no, sido is not dope. do you understand German??? ok, he improved over the years, but still he's far away from being a dope lyricist...

aggro berlin is the german g-unot

06-15-2009, 02:03 PM
yeah aggro berlin sucks but sido has two Dope albums, listen to Maske

D-Bo is a fagg get over yourself

06-15-2009, 03:53 PM
nah, not really. ok, sido improved, but still he aint great. but better than the rest of aggro or ersguterjunge...

06-16-2009, 07:32 AM
what about huss und hodn?

06-16-2009, 08:49 AM
they're funny. i like their new album more than jetzt schämst du dich. only annoying thing is, that hey have hardly a flow.

"Seelenblut" was the shit...

i nearly stopped listening to german hiphop, but over the last 2 years some really dope mcs came up (huss und hodn, kaas, maeckes, marteria z.B.).

i think (i cant believe im saying this^^) the gangsta rap era in germany is over now and people are listening to lyrics more and more and realize how stupid the music is that theyve been listening to for years

what about Blumentopf, forgot about these dudes. they're quite dope, listening to "Block und Bleistift" and shit is killing me. "Kein Zufall" is a personal classic of mine.

if you want some very fine technical skillz i suggest you to listen something by Curse or Olli Banjo.

i miss the old times with the old samy deluxe (but i think he is still the best german mc) and absolute beginner...samy deluxe is incredible, his flows are out of this world imo

06-20-2009, 08:23 AM
yeah, i like "gern geschehen", too.

samy used to be so good, but his new album is just wack. bambule is a great album, too. but my favorite is "blauer samt" from torch.

06-21-2009, 07:16 AM
i didn't listen to samys new album yet because i think i'd be disappointed...bambule was very nice, denyos solo stuff was alright, jan delay is wack imo...are the beginner still making music together?didn't hear anything for a few years now!!

06-21-2009, 07:23 AM
no, they aint. but i heard that they are planning to make a new album. unfortunately they could never reach the level of bambule again.

does anyone here listen to umse? i quite like him. especially "smart und weise". on "rheinische post" the beats are rather weak.
