this man is said to be able to cure AIDS and caner.

he was the spiritual advisor/herbologist that Left Eye was building a clinic for in Honduras when she died.

^^Interesting. Before Left Eye died, she lost a shockingly noticeable amount of weight and there was speculation as to why that was.

Good stuff

I met and spent the day with his ex-wife / ex-business partner Maa (she is based out of Brooklyn New York)

His, as well as her, knowledge and scientific understanding of health are truly a treasure

Our healing, and conversely, our illnesses, is in our food.
It's real simple, just like he said

I didn't watch all of the clips of this lecture posted here in this thread.
However, the brother that introduced me to Maa let me watch 1 of Dr. Sebi's other DVD's. It appears to be similar to this in that he talks about some of his life's stories as well as some of his professional techniques.

He said he was in the Nation of Islam as a younger man, but he took pot shots specifically at the Nation and the dietary laws on multiple occasions in the lecture I saw in full. Elijah Muhammad and Dick Gregory are pretty much the first Black men to admonish Black people about nutrition. So that along with that fact that he even takes the time out to mention Elijah Muhammad's teachings, I would have to say there is some level of influence.
