First I thought it was my pain in the a$$ pc again but I've had a look around and I'm noticing a lot of other people are having this problem. I've had trouble with Zshare, Rapidshare and a few others.

I read about some reports of a handful of ISP's last year in the UK who blocked ZShare temporarily.

I can get the sites up via a proxy but still not able to download.

Anyone else having these problems?

if your isp blocks rapidshare(mine sometimes does), you can use this trick...

change the link from:

that works for me.

Thanks. I've seen a couple of work arounds for various sites but not one for Zshare.

Anyone know of one?

...you can try SkipScreen(program that bypasses the countdown for free users)... but i dont think that'll work, since there is no different encryption method, it just speeds up the download process. Try it... it may work.

Firefox: Thanks to an explosion in their popularity, it's hard to avoid the ad-filled countdown screens of file services like Rapidshare and Megaupload these days. Skip the wait with this handy extension. SkipScreen is a no-frills Firefox extension with a singular focus. Once you install SkipScreen the splash screens on popular file sharing services, that show you advertisements and encourage you to upgrade to premium service to avoid having to wait, are a thing of the past. As you can see in the screenshot above, the save file dialogue box popped up immediately while the count down was still in progress. Check out the video below to see it in action:

SkipScreen is free and works wherever Firefox does.

* zShare.net
* MediaFire.com
* Megaupload.com (no captcha action... yet)
* Sharebee.com
* Depositfiles.com
* Sendspace.com
* Divshare.com
* Linkbucks.com
