I'm writing a review of it right now. Pretty amazing stuff IMO. Anybody else gotten a chance to watch it? I'd like to see what other people thought of it.

haven't seen it yet, but i'm definitely trying to.
near dark, point break and strange days are all tight movies, directed by the chick who did this flick.

Unfortunately, my theater doesn't have it so I'm going to have to wait for it to come out on dvd. I've heard alot of good things about it though.
Watched this film yesterday.
The Hurt Locker is a great film, and is an intense action/drama film directed by a woman. <not meaning to be sexist when i say that, but most action/war/dramas are directed by men.

Watched this the other day. Really great film, already want to watch it again.
The tension in all the scenes set in the warzone was unreal. Every one was on the level of the climax of a film like Full Metal Jacket for example.
I also liked how the lead actor was portrayed as a maverick but not in an unrealistic or dickish way.
Really makes you appreciate how much pressure these troops must be under and how paranoid being in such situations must make them.

Great film also great because its also devoid of any crappy bias like you get in many war films, it simply just portrays the ordeal troops go through mentally and physically and exemplifies the power of human emotion.
it was real good, enjoyed it quite a bit

The first 10 minutes are off the hook.
The rest is boring, dragged on,,etc...Its a movie with no story, no plot, just about a guy who prevents bombs from exploding. Its the same scene over and over again with slight changes.
