on this 95 collabo (prod by easy mo bee) you had

Biggie
Busta
Buckshot
Coolio
Big Mike
Heltah Skeltah

Redman

obviously not all east coast, but all heavyweigths at the time

and then come bone, and totally rip down the entirre fucking shit

The most talented MC's of their generation, you cant compare people to them. Biggie held his own though.

just bones part (sounds better to watch the whole video though)

i like bone a lot, but.....
creepin and e99 were they only projects worthy of genuine praise.
after easy died they were done.

and this song was about revolution and black unity, all bone rapped about was bustin slugs and bizzy had the nerve to say he was shermed up. wtf?

bone was also good for recycling lyrics, they got away with it cause most people didn't understand what they were saying anyway.

talented...yes
unique....yes
most talented...no

if you were listening to bone when they were in their prime you'd have a better perspective on where they stood in the grand scheme of things.

you had dre and snoop, the wu, bone, outkast, pac, big, black moon, jay-z all droppin their best shit all at once.

this is why its hard for me to even listen to anything made after 1997. i'm spoiled from growing up on all classics.

I have nothing against Norway, but that example of why someone would like to TOUR a place is horrible in this argument. I love going to Canada...Doesn't mean I want to live there. Just Sayin'.

Listen to interviews of rappers touring overseas, they talk about the fans, not the place. Nearly every rapper I've heard talking about it has mentioned that americans care more about the bullshit, while when they're in the rest of the world they can still feel the love for the music, that's what I meant.

I agree with your point though. Just saying, I'm blessed, trying to put me down for it will lead to nothing.

Ur just wrong, AOW was a classic. Kray and Bizzy just blacked out for the entire 2 discs.

and this song was about revolution and black unity, all bone rapped about was bustin slugs and bizzy had the nerve to say he was shermed up. wtf?

AHAHAHHAHAHH!! YES!!! shits hilairous i dont care what u say.
PLus hes not saying about sherm, hes saying "pray the bullet dont put in much work, but im a sure wit a shot"

Creep with the street
Sweeper
Better R.I.P., and pray
The bullet don't put in much work
But I'm a sure, wit, shot
Puttin' the bullets just where it hurts, and um
With a me tech'll slip up one on the popos, Bone, Bone
Better be nothing to me, you set up, wet up, get 'em on the get up, Bone won't let up

^ILL!

Just because you cant hear the lyrics first tim, dont mean therye not there.

They way Bizzy rides the beat is fucking a pure and pure lesson on how to do this rap shit. Just listen how he matches up with the beat. Thats why he can hypnotize you. You know speaking in tongues? Thats basically what i think hes doing, something comes through him, its like he sold his soul to the devil to be that good.

Also his rhyme patterns and syllables seem to match up with the golden ratio and the Fibonacci sequence.

Exactly....there was so much good shit and such variety and people at their peak during the 90's that Bone just kinda gets lost in that mix.

But thats a good thing.

I personally dont like anyting Bone did after E.1999.

Its a testement to the likes of Outkast and JayZ for continually droppin dope shit.

Jay-Z, like it or not, is the fucking King of NY and that DOA shit is like the good icing on top of the icing.
Certain musicians can transcend time and continually keep it fresh.

I dont think people like Nas can do that.

I think Wu Tang struggles with it as well alot of times.

bone thugs are legends in the rap game. their last great album was BTNHResurrection. Strength & Loyalty, Thug World Order, and Thug Stories were good but can never match up to the first 3 albums(not counting faces of death) and 1 EP

wish also had one of his best verse ever.

[Layzie Bone]
Puttin' your shit to the pave, ending 'em meeting the gauge
Live in the land of the brave, crazed, dazed, gotta blaze, amazin', nothin' phased
Bone, my deadly fist of brothers, ruggish, never did take no losses
Put 'em all in a coffin, you dearly departed, better off

[Wish Bone]
Livin' the psycho path, so I'm down with a buck and a blast, and gettin' my chance
You niggas are fearin' my sawed-off
Blew thee to rest, so fast to blast
So if you, thinking defeat, you need, to best, be packin' your shit, you bitch
Not that it makes a difference, cuz, when we a done with the quickness

[Krayzie Bone]
Now Krayzie Bone is buck, buck, buckin' em once a
Gain, enough, to pick a
Defender, they try to contend us, see, all they gon' win is that Mack
10
There's never another to go with a brother, I smother a sucker and go undercover
(???) nickel'll lick it all off, but who was the sucker that screaming the murder

[Bizzy Bone]
Creep with the street
Sweeper
Better R.I.P., and pray
The bullet don't put in much work
But I'm a sure, wit, shot
Puttin' the bullets just where it hurts, and um
With a me tech'll slip up one on the popos, Bone, Bone
