This is no more than a dedication to the culture that we know and love.

Hip-Hop spans many horizons, but lately, people have confined it to partying or fake gangster shit.

I chose this video, not only because it's one of the illest songs I've ever heard, but it reminds us that there is a true creepiness in growing up and surviving in the inner city. It reminds us that Hip-Hop, in it's purest form, is the voice of the people. Not a fuckin' party.

Enjoy.

^^Yo, the first time I heard these cats was on a compilation called, "Defenders of The Underworld" and the track was, "Pow Wow". Just the beat alone had me hooked. It's that dark, eerie yet inspiring shit that only a few people can appreciate.

Although they were talking about drug use, they weren't neccessarily glorifying it, more like taking you on a journey through thier experiences.

Love From The Sick Side is a great track too.

Peace

Confessions of an Addict is a good example of what your talking about with drugs IMO...

They got too many songs I like to list a favorite.

"We get down to our OWN gangsta sound"
