Ok here's my full review even though im tired I always get tired at 6 O clock.
Intro-5/5-Cant really rate intros but this one is too damn hilarious for it not to be rated
Shimmy Shimmy Ya-5/5-Dope piano beat. Ol Dirty Bastard man just give him the mic and let him take it away! Great fucking song to nod your head to and I love the music video to this it's hilarious
Baby Cmon-5/5-Man this is one of RZA's best. Ill beat change I love it. Ol Dirty is so damn good at being funny. 2 classic tracks to start out an album. Man the first like 6 tracks are classic.
Brooklyn Zoo-5/5-This is one of 4th Disciple's first beats I heard. Another banging piano type beat. Ol Dirty shows that he actually does have skill. He's got sick flow and I like his voice too. "Ason, I keep planets in orbit." "Rhymes good as a tasty cake." He can say anything he has on his mind and it's all good to me.
Hippa to da Hoppa-5/5-This track is co produced by Ol Dirty. Love the hard bassline, very Biscuits like. Ol Dirty has dope flow and charisma on this song. "Rhymes come stinky like a girls poo poo." HAHA. Dope beat.
Raw Hide-5/5-Rugged, grimy, sick beat. RZA was the dude in 95. Ol Dirty has the same type of delivery he had on the first tracks. More comedy from him but Raekwon and Method Man have sick verses. Probably one of the best tracks on the album.
Damage-5/5-Beat sounds like Raw Hide a little bit, except a lot faster and harder. The GZA is on Dirty's side on this, as they go back and forth with lines. Dope song. Classic collab.
Don't U Know-5/5-I love the sample, another dope beat. Ol Dirty has some storytelling type lyrics this time. Who were the two women talking is what I want to know. Best part is easily the last minute of the song, it's one of the best moments from Ol Dirty. Easy on my balls, there fragile as eggs.
The Stomp-5/5-One of the catchiest beats i've heard. Man RZA is a true genious. "Im the original GOD, making young laides scream's my specialty." Short song but it's fucking awesome. Classic track.
Goin' Down-4/5-Fucking hilarious beginning. "Remember when we was young, and...we use to go AHHHHHHHHHHH" It's funny because i've done shit like that. I love when he starts just yelling so fucking obnoxiously. Then he mutters to himself for about 30 seconds. After 2 and a half minutes he finally starts rhyming. Funny song.
Drunk Game (Sweet Sugar Pie)-5/5-I use to not like this song but the beat is so great for this type of song. Soothing shit, but Ol Dirty is so damn funny. The random screams is just too funny. Classic song.
Snakes-5/5-This song is pure rawness. One of the most rugged beats i've heard RZA produce. Da dun da dun da dun da dun over and over again plus RZA drops a sick verse. I loved him during this time, his voice was so angry, his flow and lyrics were top notch. Priest drops a dope verse. This song is so unlike anything coming out because it was so raw. Only Wu Tang could do this. Masta Killa was a fucking madman when he first started out. He just had pure anger on this track, I love his verse. Dirty is probably the weakest song. I like Buddha Monk even though I cant hear a word he's saying it sounds dope.
Brooklyn Zoo II-4/5-I like the first better. Dope song though. Ghost has a dope verse. Long ass song.
Protect Ya Neck II The Zoo-5/5-Man this just goes to show that the Killa Bees can fucking rhyme. This song is up there with the orignal. Ever person has short verses, but they all rap like they're battling for a spot or something. Still, best guy has to be Shorty Shit Stain, man that verse is fucking classic. Awesome song.
Cuttin Headz-5/5-I love this track. RZA and Dirty going back and forth. Might be the best song on the album. Classic song.
Dirty Dancin-2/5-Not a very good song just because I don't feel the beat at all.
Harlem World-3/5-Ok song, but not the song I want an album to end with. The album should have ended with Cuttin Headz.
78/85
This is classic to me due to some of RZA's best work and the classic MC Ol Dirty Bastard. RIP Ol Dirty thanks for releasing this classic album.

Actually it took me time to fuck with this album. Am always on that mc extraoridinair lyrical shit, so Dirt, evendough I always had soft spot for this man, wasn't on my shortlist. But with I sunk my teeth in it..oohhh! To this day, when listen to this album, I keep repeating that ill ass intro for like 3 or 5 times I bullshit you not! Tears rolls outta my eyes of laughter and my neck gets the up and down treatment. Great album, a near classic of sorts.
introducin... yo fuck this niggas name! :)

i've been listenin to this album in da car a lot recently, great album but da reviews goin on in this thread are stannish
this album makes me goes nuts everytime i heard it expecially cuttin headz, its no doubt a masterpiece, but not a classic cause it didn't have a huge impact on rap, just a moderate one, still to a Wu fan it's classic so i'll give dirty that much.

yet another spectacular album a few steps from being a personal classic for me. theres 3 songs i skip on this album. ODB isnt that good a lyricist but he's entertaining and the Rza's beats and the clan and fam appearances lift this album up.

This album is so hardcore. I love this album. Brooklyn Zoo song is my favorite. Ol Dirty cracks me up with his lyrics on the song when he said this type of pain you couldn't even cure with Mydol, fuck around and get sprayed with Lysol hahahahahahahahahaha. In your face like a can of mase baby. Is it burning? Well fuck it, now your learning LOL. I don't even like your muthafucking profile. Gimme my fucking shit, blowe LOL. Before you knew nothing. Now you know a whole fucking lot LOL. I never been taken out by a nigga who couldn't figure, yo by a nigga who couldn't figure, yo by a nigga who couldn't figure how to pull the fucking gun trigger. I said get the fuck outta here LOL. Introducing yo fuck that nigga's name LOL. Snakes, Cuttin Heads, Rawhide, Harlem World are my other favorite songs on the album. What's the name of the song Ghostface raps on? I like that song too.
the stomp is an incredible song

I heard many albums by the most silly of artists and I was not impressed. What probably saved this one was(drum roll!)...The RZA cause ODB was being silly, just silly and ya'll know what I mean. I could tell that he was playing when I heard Brooklyn Zoo.He doing all of that yelling and playing around and then he raps on Brooklyn Zoo like a 20-year veteran. He smashed that whole damn song and that was when I realized why he was a Wu-Tang member, that mothafucker can rap! The appearances from other Clan members and affiliates made it better too. I need to get another one cause I lost that one too!

Classic album although I think "Drunk Game" should have been deleted. RZA and ODB came together and did an album full of fun, rawness and nasty shit and this was when Dirty still was enough to his senses to know exactly what he was talking about (see "Nigga Please"). He was one of the greatest characters in Hip-Hop and here he shows why, RZA also knew exactly what type of music was needed. I think "Harlem World" would have made a better b-side or soundtrack and could have been replaced with "Don't U Know pt.2" or "Get it To Ya Raw".
