^^ only "Tres Leches" appear on the mentioned album though, the other 2 are Fat Joe joints.. this album is fucking amazing though, definitely a lyrical masterpiece and 90% of the time Pun got the right beats to back him.... this equals to an incredible LP.

I said how many albums? Mainstream speaking, almost none. Lacey posted one alternative--but I would turn down Liquid Swords, Illmatic, Ironman and other albums like that.....there was nobody flowing like Big Pun....I think he topped even Biggie's hypeness on Capital Punishment [cuz he was more consistant IMO], and Big L's flows...

Pun flows the whole album cuz he knew he can't fuck up his one in a lifetime chance [just look at all the guests!!!], and I believe that even if he lived to this day and still made music, he would never top the first one....we alll heard Yeah Baby and we saw he was going that Terror Squad/Fat Joe cliche way.

yea he died before he can seriously fell off and headed to that direction, some ppl say it saved his legacy lol cause he left them with just one seriously crazy classic and one mediocre album, but still, anyways RIP pun

^^I'm really leaning more towards Capital Punishment, cuz it's darker, faster in meaner...at least for me.

Biggie has a better delivery tho.

capitol pun>ready to die...lyrically. ready to die was a better conceived album.

Lol @ Ghostlaced.

It probably could've been one of the best, but his gasping ruins it for me.

Kool G on Live and Let Die, Wanted Dead or Alive & 4, 5, 6 are better than pun on this, imho.

@mench... your putting snoop next to pun... really?
dreday made a good call on the RTD/CP comment...
this was a nice lyrical album and definitely shows pun off but it seems like the creation for the album went like this:
"Hey Pun, rhyme on this beat, Hey Pun, rhyme on this beat, Hey Pun, rhyme on this beat, Hey Pun, rhyme on this beat... there, thats an album."

if he had a concept or somethin like that behind this record, Pun woulda been glorious. Still very underrated imo tho
