Drugs and Banging music = Ravers. There are many various genres of dance music, some good, some bad. I used to be heavily into it around 93-96 and again from 2000-2003.

Out here in scandinavia, ravers or what u wanna call it, are considered fuckin geeks. It is always the most gay and loser types who listen to that kinda "music". Personally i hate techno, who really listens to that shit??

I say they are one step closer to meeting their demise!

Take drugs and die!
Eating shit while alive!
Syphilis enters their insides!

:D I Loooooooooooove me some techno. All depends on who the artist is (as with all genres)
damn right.
artists like Underground Resistance, Joey Beltram, Carl Craig, Kevin Saunderson, Juan Atkins, Cold Dust, Rob Hood etc have been bringing the realest shit to the table for over 10 years now.

Raves=loud drumnbass/techno/hardcore in huge warehouses or smaller venues, pumping and uplifting vibes out of them 10000Watt speakersystems, the deepest subbasses, the dirtest noises, dancing beyond exhaustion, and not so much the stereotype of heavy drug use. (them pillheadz are the most irritating people on such party imo.)

an addict since '98 :p

........and not so much the stereotype of heavy drug use.
maybe in Belgium..
here in the UK, most ravers take pills in the clubs and have done for the past 15 years or so.
speed and cocaine are also very popular with UK ravers.

Raves = fun as shit. Take some speed if you're just there to dance, but pills are more fun because you get absolutely blitzed.

Worse ways to spend ur nights, then dancing till the sun comes up with a bunch of hot girls while I'm tripping balls.....heavily into the scene from like 95 to 2001 but I could only live to party for so long and the crackhouse statutes here in the states, at least in Austin, pretty much shut the whole scene down. Still check out the drum n bass DJ's that play in the clubs here but that's about it anymore. The vibes at a good party back in the day were incredible. I look back on those days fondly.

The vibe in the belgian scene is ging strong for about 5 years now and every week there's big names coming over to make the massive rinse out :D Glad I live in Belgium, we can virtually do anything when it comes to raves :D

sorry, I was talking about rave music in general.
Belgium was one of the pioneering countries in this, back in the early 90s.
artists like Frank De Wulf and CJ Bolland and the legendary R&S Records put a harder, ravier edge on Detroit Techno and New York House to create what was then called New Beat, one of the earliest forms of European Techno.
