I donít know about ya'll but I see a hip hop movement coming. I noticed ever since this rock the bells shit really started to pop, real emcees are starting to spit real shit again. And wu-tang was that main group that elevated the concert series to where it is. Even though only a few Wu Tang dudes in it this time they are all making noise.

Now all the real niggas is step in it up lyrically. That red and Meth album was just as good if not better as the first. Now you Rae all over the place with "Cuban linx part 2". I haven't heard much but everything I heard is heat. Plus this whole thing with Joe Buddens testing Meth. Meth has been hungry, killing everything heís on.

Then you got Jay killing the BET awards. He basically called out everyone in front of him. That was the only part of that show worth anything. His second single is a little pop but he's still kicking real shit, even Kanye went hard. It's still a dope song.

After we got KRS 1 and buck shot! That album is gunna be bananas. everything I heard so far was dope and KRS is calling niggas out in interviews. He called out 50 for always talking bout running ny and no one saying nothing.

He basically said 50 need to step his game up. Krs had Pete rock with him and said 50 needed to do a joint with him. Bring it back to how he used to spit cuz that commercial shit he tryna do aint working no more. Them days is over. (Eminem messed up dropping that wack shit).

I also heard 50 was gunna release "before I self destruct" the same day as Jay Z. I dont really beleve it but I dont put it past him.

Then you got RAKIM supposedly dropping "the seventh seal". That joint he got out now is sick. Isnít Nas droppin with Marley? I heard he wanted to drop another solo joint too.
Hopefully all these albums coming out are all real shit and they can bring the game back....

(Puffy better hope im wrong cause he's about to put out some wack shit too.)

what ya'll think?

for real

wu-tang has a lot of influence over new york rappers from the jay-z through 50 cent generation.

if the wu does good, hip-hop does good.

Bad example... Lyrically the recent shit is good but I wouldn't put it on the same level. A few corny songs on that last attempt as well.

Then you got Jay killing the BET awards. He basically called out everyone in front of him. That was the only part of that show worth anything. His second single is a little pop but he's still kicking real shit, even Kanye went hard. It's still a dope song.

This has absolutely nothing to do with rock the bells or wu tang clan... Jay has new material worth checking no doubt but the single out with kanye right now is pretty weak if you ask me.

After we got KRS 1 and buck shot! That album is gunna be bananas. everything I heard so far was dope and KRS is calling niggas out in interviews. He called out 50 for always talking bout running ny and no one saying nothing.

Hes been doing that kinda shit since before rock the bells existed... and that song robot is pretty gay

He basically said 50 need to step his game up. Krs had Pete rock with him and said 50 needed to do a joint with him. Bring it back to how he used to spit cuz that commercial shit he tryna do aint working no more. Them days is over. (Eminem messed up dropping that wack shit).

Em messed up? It may not have been the slim shady lp but it was the best shit hes put out in years and his record sales were impressive. How does that qualify as messing up? And 50 cent just put out an album for the streets that didnt even have a commercail single - did you miss that? Futher more this once again has absolutely nothing to do with your original point.

what ya'll think?

You used all the wrong examples and you went off topic about random hip-hop news that had nothing to do with anything. Basically your post sounds ignorant.

For this thread - you take an L

what im saying is that Wu tang cant start no movement throughout all of hip hop anymore. they can only start movements within the wu tang fam. who knows, cuban linx 2 might be the start of a movement. but i doubt it.

Rakim did preform at rock the bells. May have not been this year but that dont matter.

my point is, i feel like real emcce's are tired of wack dudes running shit and are finally starting bring it back and put balance back in the game. Jay was not a part of rock the bells true. I added him only becuase imo what he did at the award show was hudge just for the simple fact that he does have a commercial following.

KBOS-
all my examples were points to why i felt there was a movement going on. If you think that Em album was worth the plastic it was wrapped in then either i heard the wrong cd or we just look at hip hop differently. To me, that ablum was trash. He could be so much more than getting balls dropped on his chin or tryna battle Mariah Carey. but hey, i aint gunna hate on a dude for trying to sell records. And i aint gunna call you ignorant or anything else cuz i aint got time to argue wit niggas over the internet.

you dont agree, cool. keep it moving.
