i just got my copy of this Diamond D album after buying it from a guy at discogs.com.. shit looks mad cheap though, it's just a slim-case (like a maxi-single) with a computer-printed front and tracklist on the back of it. the CD is a blank CD-R with a DIAMOND Grown Man Talk logo printed to it. It doesn't have no back-case at all... is this how the CD was actually pressed (i know it was basically only sold over the net and pressed up by D himself so it might just be) or was i ripped off??
thx for any answer!

aight, thx for the info.. the CD was actually better than i remembered it, production is tight for the most part although Diamond's performance on the mic is very average..

Grown Man Talk album is terrible. I didn't like any of the songs. His best album is his 2nd one.

^^ nah, it got good production but lyrically it's wack.. songs like "Time Will Heal U", "Put it Down", "Da Magnificent", "2 Late", etc has got real dope beats.
Diamond's two first albums are great.

I don't have a problem with Diamond D's lyrics. I wasn't liking the beats on this album.
