Damn nice, drops same day as Cormegas Born & Raised, Ill cop Rakims later because Ive seen the producers on some his tracks which are mostly unknowns, Mega got the East Coast greats on his.

rakim the god!!! this cover has me stuck!!!!

all you aspiring emcees out there, study this mans career!!!

his ability to gracefully grow older while still advancing his pen game is legendary!!! this cat broke on the scene in the 80's, and when he rhymes today its not as if hes reaching for something he used to love. im loving that track he just dropped, lotta jewels in it. when it comes to rappers who are able to stay true to themselves for long periods of time, the first names that pop into my head are kool giacana and rakim allah!!

i been waiting on this album for years, 18th letter is still piff im still getting high bumping that!!!

That album cover looks better than the album cover Ghostlaced posted on here. I'm not hyped up about this album because i didn't like The 18th Letter and The Master albums but Rakim has always been a ill mc. The thing that's so ill about him is that he doesn't curse when he raps. How many rappers can sound ill like him without cursing? Not too many. LL Cool J sounds good when he doesn't curse sometimes and so does CL Smooth.

the cover is an allusion to the ingmar bergman film 'the seventh seal' i'm surprised no one else has commented on this yet lol
