December 13th!!!

Finally. But damn, every studio is making the people double dip on DVDs these days!

Its supposed to be around $40

The 147-minute extended cut
A commentary with director Robert Rodriguez & Frank Miller, and with Rodriguez & Tarantino
A 15-minute film school with Rodriguez
17 uninterrupted minutes of Tarantino's segment
Footage of a Sin City cast/crew party
4 featurettes on the cars, special effects make-up, costumes and props, a featurette on how they convinced Miller to assist with the film, a featurette on casting, a featurette on Tarantino the guest director (sigh)
Trailers, bloopers, interactive game
Packaged with a graphic novel, "The Hard Goodbye"

Robert Rodriguez let everyone know prior to the original DVDs release that he and Miller were working on an SE due out at the end of the year

I told all my friends to wait for it but they bought the standard, oh well. Cant wait.

im not even gunna front, i bought it in august too, but i bought it knowing full well i was going to hand my old copy off to my pops and pick up the SE in december!

damn they really advertising Tarentino for his 5 minute segment, lol

i bet the extra 20 or so minutes of the movie are divided within the 3 stories so i dont expect anything "WOW!"

True, but who can trust that. Im still waiting on the Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair DVD.

I probably will buy this, but I wish they had a version where they could take the book outta the package. Im not interested in that at all. If they took the book out for a seperate package, then the price would only be around 20 bucks. I dont see how they price it at 40$. These days, 2 disc dvds are the same price as 1 discs the first week they drop. And the book is 17$ seperatly. So the price should only be about
35$. I dont see a deal there at all...
But like I said, Ill buy it.

yeah I own the hard good bye book and putting that in there is a waste in my opinion. but hey atleast now I get all the good special features!
