I cant download anything all of a sudden. I have like 6 albums lined up to download but they arent going, any ideas why?

Its not that its downloading slow, its just not downloading at all. I tried turning my firewall off too and restarting bitTorrent, didnt do shit.

an album will have Seeds and Peers but will have a zero next to it like this, Seeds: 0 (243) Peers: 0 (45)

Whaddfuxup with this?

Why don't you just use file hosting sites like rapidshare or megaupload?

^^

ya im using sites like those but torrents have a wider selection i find.

Right now i usually just type that album name + .rar or zshare or .zip into google, most of the time i have to sign up to download and its fucking annoying. I miss BitTorrent.

client = program

it might just be some settings in the program that need to be changed.

try switching clients to uTorrent or BitComet and see if the do the same thing.

if so then that changes the nature of your problem and it must be something outside the program causing it to not work, you feel me?

C'mon son!

Dont you realize you need seeds in order for the entire process to work?
Somebody needs to come along and seed you up.

if ya have seed problems. copy the hash number that shows up under the torrent general details page on your torrent program. paste that into google, there should be a link to torrentz.com with the file. copy the trackers from torrentz and paste them into the torrents pref's

sometimes you gotta have some tech smarts to make that shit work

ok so uTorrent was going well for a while but now im starting to get the same problem where albums are chilling at 0% and not downloading at all.

I feel like im doing some fundamentally wrong here like not sharing the files back so then i get cut off or something. Anyone know??

http://portforward.com/routers.htm

try going here and finding your router, then follow the guide.

some people who use routers need to 'port forward'.

see if that fixes it.

i fucking hate computers by the way

i was going to do that step forwarding thing but it required that i access my router interface thing and i cant remember my fucking username and password. i tried doing a reset on my router but the default username/pw is working. im so pissed at this shit.

port forward helps if you know what your doing but its no necessary.

what tracker is the music your trying to get on? (what site)

also have you tried resetting your router?

JerseyIronman

I get most of my torrents from piratebay.org

BTW when i did the hard reset on my router and reconnected the torrents started downloading. Unfortunately now i think my network isnt password protected to thats another thing i have to figure out.

if you HARD reset it then maybe. a soft reset should just clean the system.
turn on the wifi on your phone or something and see if your signal is open or if its still pword protected.
