I need some music to vibe to during the nighttime.
Preferrably 90's r&b or some shit like that. Just recently listened to the groove theory album and I loved it. Been bumping baduizm for like 2 years now.
Y'all got any suggestions?
I should pick up a Sade album too. :f

the smiths are really chill to listen to but they are not r&b
Also ghostface just released a shitty r&b album called wizard of poetry, try that too

Try some early LTJ Bukem. Chilled and manic at the same time if that make's sense. Logical Progression vol 1 is absolutely brilliant. Earth 1 and 2 top notch. And Progression sessions vols 1-5 all are great. I personally feel he lost it slightly after Sessions vol 5 but...
^yh ltj bukem has some good stuff.
Also try bonobo, future sound of london, younger brother, orbital and burial.

Here's a playlist mix I compiled over at imeem if you like YungSunny, a mix of 80's and 90's R&B, they bring a similar type of vibe as Groove Theory and them 90's black musicians. Hopefully it's the type of sound you seek:
