Two teenagers, age 12 and 13, were arrested last Sunday. However, they were released after being interrogated because they are minors. According to Regnum News Agency, earlier that day the mutilated body of the 59-year old man was found in a house in the city of Alexandrovsk-Sakhalinsk. Immediately after, two teenagers, Sergey K. and Aleksey G., were arrested.
The investigators said that the kids came into the house of the retiree who was known for his excessive alcohol consumption. The guests drank together with the man, and later got into a fight. The teenagers attacked the retiree and started beating him. As the teenagers explained later, they wanted to see what his internal organs looked like. They cut the manís chest open with an axe while he was still alive, took his heart out and watched it beat. Then they cut off the manís ear, pierced his eye, and left.
ďBoth teenagers are registered as juvenile delinquents, and their families are registered as difficult,Ē the investigators said.
After the interrogation, the kids were given back to their parents since they are under 14 and cannot be prosecuted.

I remember news stories of some young ass kids getting prosecuted for murder but can't remember the age. Of two that come to mind, one was in Florida somewhere and the other in Chicago. I think if anything, it would vary from state to state, just like the legal age for what constitutes a consenting adult.

haha.

idk maybe i got lucky i was raised right, and my sympathy for people doing obviously stupid ass shit is pretty low.

between right and wrong within the law, like you know if you do some shit like that your going to be in trouble. especially murdering someone. how is that not instilled in someone, even at 14? and then the whole moral aspect of it. a human life is precious, i couldnt even think of just killing someone unless they were attacking my family or i was in a war.

either they are just psychopaths or they had shitty parents.

but even the shitty parent excuse is somewhat of a cop out. there are plenty of people who have had bad parents who have made something positive out of themselves.

Its sad how people in this country are so used to the idea of incarceration that people think children that commite crimes should be locked up. Childern, even teenagers dont have the same mental cappacities and emotional maturity, and cant be held to the same standards of blame as adults. Its the same reason kids cant vote or drink or drive cars.

Exactly. I'm so sick of people saying we can't imprison them yet have no ideas on how to fix the issue.

All I can say is when I was a kid I knew not to cut people or anything open to study them.

You cannot kill an innocent! These boys should be killed. How old they are isn't the point. The point is, they kill innocent people. Why keep people around if they kill innocent people? I don't care how old a dog is, if it bites at my kids neck, I'm killin the fucker! Same rules should apply to murder when the victim did nothing worthy of such a harsh punishment. This story is a perfect example of completely unnecessary murder. Sick little fucks!

hell nah they should'nt be murdered ... science wizards should take them and study their brains and shit and figure out why they do the things they do, so others can be properly warned how to avoid this type of behavior ... i'm too lazy to even go back one page but aren't they like 12 and 13? that's too young to be murdered, they probably won't even understand the full jist of it

^^^I don't care if they understand it or not. Regardless of any of that, they brutally murdered an innocent man in a very sick, and emotionless way. Save the world from these little wastes of life, and take them out back, and put bullets in their brains!

I think young people understand a whole lot of what's going on in the world today. They know they can seriously hurt somebody and sometimes kill somebody, and get a slap on the wrist. It's messed up.

There are alternatives to incarceration that would be more healthy and benificail to the offender and society as a whole. This whole throw the muthafucka in a cage mentality is a new one and not a good solution. For god sakes prisons are an industry now they trade stocks based on how many bodies they can cram in a facility. I dont know if your from tthe USA or not but here the prison industrial complex is out of control.

These people should get the death penalty also:

--Pa. family: 'Friends' torture, kill disabled woman

GREENSBURG, Pa. – Jennifer Daugherty's mom and stepdad didn't press for details when she mentioned she had made some new friends. The 30-year-old had the mental abilities of an adolescent but wasn't the kind to get in trouble, and she was even thinking about getting her own place soon.

Police found her body Thursday stuffed into a garbage can in a school parking lot; they say she had been forced to consume detergent and urine — and to write a fake suicide note — before she was fatally stabbed by attackers who also shaved her head and painted her face with nail polish. Six suspects have been charged, including her new "friends."

"She was exploited, and her kindness and her handicap made her very vulnerable," Daugherty's sister, Joy Burkholder, said. "She trusted everybody; she believed everyone was good, and no one would hurt her."

Daugherty's stepfather said she often traveled on her own by bus from her home in Mount Pleasant to Greensburg, about 10 miles away, for dental or counseling appointments. After she hopped onto a bus Monday, she called her folks later in the day seeking permission to spend the night at "Peggy's" house.

It was the last time she would talk to them.

Daugherty went willingly to the apartment where she was killed about 30 miles east of Pittsburgh, according to police, who wouldn't discuss a motive or details on how the visit turned deadly.

She was beaten with a towel rack, vacuum cleaner hose and a crutch, and her body was bound with Christmas decorations, an affidavit said. Police said she was fed vegetable oil, medications and spices in addition to soap and urine.

She was stabbed multiple times with an unknown weapon in the neck, chest and head, Westmoreland County Coroner Kenneth Bacha said. Authorities said they found the victim's belongings in the building's attic, as well as items that had been used to clean up blood.

"She was at the wrong place, at the wrong time, stumbled into a bad situation," said Greensburg Police Chief Walter Lyons.

Six people were charged with criminal homicide, kidnapping and other counts: Robert Loren Masters Jr., 36, Ricky Smyrnes, 23, Melvin Knight, 20, Amber Meidinger, 20, and Angela Marinucci, 17, all of Greensburg; and Peggy Darlene Miller, 27, of Mount Pleasant Township. All were being held without bond in the Westmoreland County prison. Prosecutors didn't know whether any of them had attorneys.

There was already a warrant for Smyrnes' arrest at the time of Daugherty's killing, according to a review Friday of criminal records available online. He was charged Jan. 30 with possessing instruments of crime, but the records don't detail the allegations. He was also awaiting trial on simple assault and harassment charges and pleaded guilty on four occasions to charges ranging from burglary to simple assault, theft and trespassing.

Lyons said he believed Daugherty had "some relationship" with Smyrnes.

Stepfather Bobby Murphy, 62, of Mount Pleasant, told The Associated Press that Daugherty had the mental abilities of a 12- to 14-year-old.

Murphy said he was the last family member to see Daugherty alive, on Monday, when he took her to get on the bus to Greensburg. He was not sure with whom Daugherty had an appointment, but said that later that day, she called home and asked about going to her friend Peggy's. Murphy said his stepdaughter planned to return home Tuesday.

Daugherty had become involved in a community center in Greensburg where she met several people whose names she mentioned as friends, Murphy said — including several whose first names share those of some of the defendants.

"I don't know them personally, but Jennifer mentioned some of their names as being her friends — but evidently not," he said.

According to an affidavit of probable cause, Knight admitted stabbing Daugherty in the chest, side and neck, and he and Smyrnes carried her body to the parking lot. All six defendants admitted their involvement and implicated others, according to police.

A neighbor in a first-floor apartment reported hearing a "tussle upstairs and a 'heavy bam'" as though a body fell, causing the ceiling to shake before the apartment went quiet Wednesday night, the affidavit said.

Another resident of the first-floor apartment said Smyrnes and two women came to their apartment afterward, and that the man asked them to turn their television down, the affidavit said.

The neighbors, Floria Headen and Angela McGowan, said that people frequently came and went from the apartment and that they had called police about a half-dozen times to complain.

"They was coming in droves. You didn't know who was living there," McGowan said. "It was unreal. All the noise and the pounding and the fighting and the drinking, you thought the ceiling was going to come in on you."

A man found Daugherty's body Thursday morning when he saw the garbage can partly beneath his truck.

Headen has since learned that the Christmas lights police said were used to bind Daugherty had been taken from her porch. The garbage container in which her body was found belongs to Headen's daughter, who lives several houses away, she said.

"I'm in shock, and I'm angry," McGowan said. "I'm angry and it's like you want to cry because that poor child was tortured."

Burkholder described her sister as kind and said she liked scary movies, wrestling and college football.

Daugherty's family moved to Mount Pleasant from Mesquite, Texas, about two years ago to be closer to Murphy's mother-in-law, who is ill, Murphy said.

"One thing I can tell you is there is no reason for them to do what they did to Jennifer," Murphy said. "Jennifer was just a gentle, laid-back person.

"There wasn't a mean bone in her body."

This 14 year old should be put away for life or worse.

-A 14-year-old Camden girl was charged with murder today in the grisly slayings of a man and a woman found buried last month in the backyard of a South Camden rowhouse.

The girl was among a group of at least 10 people who beat and strangled Muriah Ashley Huff, 22, of Cinnaminson on Feb. 22, authorities said.

Members of the same group also killed Huff's boyfriend, Michael Hawkins, 23, of Mount Holly.

Hawkins was bound and beaten for hours - until most of the bones in his face were broken - and then shot and stabbed repeatedly, said Jason Laughlin, spokesman for the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.

The couple were buried before dawn Feb. 23 in one grave, Laughlin said.

The girl, who was not identified because of her age, has been in custody since March 3 at the Camden County Youth Detention Center, Laughlin said.

Two other juveniles and an adult were also charged today in the slayings.

The juveniles, both 17-year-old males - one from Pennsauken, the other from Astoria, N.Y. - were each charged with two counts of murder and were being held at the county detention center, Laughlin said.

Lance Fulton, 19, of Camden, was charged with murder in connection with Hawkins death. Fulton was arrested Saturday by U.S. Marshals in North Carolina and is awaiting extradition to New Jersey, Laughlin said.

Another 19-year-old Camden man, Dennis Welch was charged with murder Friday. He was being held on $1 million bail in the Camden County Jail.

Investigators believe the group set upon Huff and Hawkins shortly after the couple arrived at a house on the 500 block of Berkley Street.

A witness said Welch and others assaulted and fatally shot Hawkins in the home, according to a statement of probable cause. He was stripped and then buried, Laughlin said.

Huff was in the home while Hawkins was being tortured, but it is unclear whether she knew what was happening to him, Laughlin said.

Police said a tip had led them to the remains about two days after they were buried. Camden detectives saw a snow-covered patch of ground at the house that had been recently dug up, the probable cause statement said.

Officials said members of the group tried to hide the killings by scrubbing the walls of the home with bleach and ripping up bloodstained carpets.

What objects, if any, were used in the beatings and murders was unclear.

These two teens should rot in jail also.

--Two teens will be tried as adults in the death of New Jersey resident Kenneth Mack.

Shabani Saunders and Kisheen Greene, both 16, are facing felony murder charges in the death of 42-year-old Kenneth Mack of Absecon, New Jersey.

Mack's body was found in a tidal marsh along Leeds Avenue in Pleasantville on Christmas night 2009. Mack, who was mentally challenged, was reported missing on Dec. 14.

Atlantic County Prosecutor Ted Housel said that results of an autopsy on Mack determined that he suffered a heart attack after being assaulted and thrown into the frigid water 11 days before his body was found.

Investigators said Mack was walking home alone from a friend's house in Pleasantville when he confronted by the teens.

According to investigators, Saunders and Greene attacked, robbed and beat up Mack. Investigators said Saunders then allegedly threw his body into the creek.

Both Saunders and Greene are charged with felony murder, armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery and weapons offenses.

In addition to those charges, Saunders is charged with aggravated manslaughter because it is alleged that he acted alone in throwing the victim into the water as part of the assault, Housel said.

Saunders and Greene were being held at the Harborfields Juvenile Detention Center in Egg Harbor City. They were transported to the Atlantic County Justice Facility Monday afternoon where bail was set at $500,000 full cash.
