Rae should be up there for sure

But the 2 best most creative have got to be Kool Keith and Ghost, not Ghost since he went to def jam though, obviously.

^Nothing.

Warcloud is nerdier than the nerdcore.

Do you understand?

His rhyming is like reading fuckin....roman mythology on acid or some shit.

Ghost In The 'Lac

you guys dont even know what abstract means

its not about thinking about like unusual words and connections to say because no one else talks about them

you can be abstract with it using the most ordinary of shit to talk about

go research what abstract poetry is. abstract poetry is not abstract because they talk about how many metres deep the pacific ocean is or some shit, its abstract for many other more subtle reasons

only a few can do it right, those few being Ghost and Keith, and drugs.

I'd probably throw a few other ones on there and take some off, but for my money it's between Ghostface and DOOM. However, seeing as Doom is heavily inspired by Ghost, I'm going for the Wallaby don.

firstly, nobody wins on default, cuz the poll is your favourite....everybody have their own favourites. duuuuuh.

and, cryptic one is fine choice, his Anti-Strip Moebius Theory album is a smarter album than any of Canibus'. Aesop Rock, El-P and MF Doom are my choices, but they are not necessarly the best abstract rhymers...the best at it is probably Warcloud, who doesn't make sense at all.

Dr Sleepwalker
10-25-2009, 09:07 AM
Aesop Rock EASILY over everyone you listed.
dude speaks in complete metaphors,
How abstract can you get?

..than after Aesop Rock, I'd say C-Rayz Walz.

Dr Sleepwalker

And for the people that don't understand Aesop Rock. Listen harder, and open your mind up a bit when listening. It won't make much sense if you hear his shit for what it is., he's like another Thom York from Radiohead in that way.
