Just gave it a listen. Dopest LP out this year for me. Prince Paul comes correct with the production. It's everything a collective group album should be. Back and forth call and respond rhyming. Google blog search that shit, download and then cop when it comes out. These guys deserve your money!!!

When is the release date for the album?

Release date is December 1st. I think there are a couple tracks produced by Opio, but the rest is Prince Paul.

This year has been my favorite in awhile for dope releases.

^^ totally agree, i can think of like 20 good albums this year and i've copped 15 myself. i usually copped like 5-6 NEW releases each year in the 2000's.

thx for letting us know though, been wanting to hear this for a good while now.

actually I felt albums were really poor this year and there wasn't one album that I think I will consider a classic...not even Doom's album.

but this could be it!!!

well classic albums hardly drop every year but Raekwon, Cormega, Blaq Poet, Rakim, Diamond District, Fashawn and Skyzoo DEFINITELY came throgh with some really, really solid releases.

well, yeah, there were solid releases all over the place, but every year had at least 5 albums that are unforgettable, especially if u give a chance to almost everything u find on blogs and such.

this year wasn't the best of years tho. a lot of collabo albums were boring and forgettable [OC&AG, Ace&EdoG,..]...really, a lot of missed opportunities.

Is that Prince Paul on the cover too (Right-hand side)???

I felt there was more "banger" albums (3.5+/5) than usual, but not enough "superior" albums (4+/5).

^^ other way round imo, either suprisingly dope or unexpectedly average for the involved artists

all paul beats, still one of the tops in the game. thats worth the purchase alone. one i got came with the instrumental cd. but overall its a quality product. one of the top 10 of the year id say.

The album was a big let down. I expected much better, the beats did not live up as a whole.

dope album? yes. forgettable? sadly, yes. with that said in a year that saw maybe 25 bangin' albums, this is another to add to the list, but more towards the #25 spot than the #1

Only songs I liked were...

Tour Stories
Proper Aim
You Got It
For Real Y'all

Everything else was either forgettable or just ruined by weak production.

All 3 of Opio's solo albums I'd recommend (Triangulation Station, Vulture's Wisdom, Everybody Love the Sun)

The REMIX version of Tajai's album (Power Movement) I'd recommend. For whatever reason, the remix version of the album ended up having much better production, as a whole, than the original (lyrically he's tight on both, of course).

A-Plus' "My Last Good Deed" I'd also recommend.

I like this album and it does grow on you, but I was expecting a little more from Prince Paul in the production department.

Production has an old-school feel, on the simpler side.

Still sounds great, but I see how some might be a bit disappointed with it.

this is proving to be a pretty polarizing album. i found it really dope, which a bunch of others have also taken it as. but there's been a decent amount of people aren't feeling this, which has surprised me.

this is an album i listened to extensively on the download when it first leaked. i ordered it, waited forever and then got a message that they somehow couldn't deliver it and just forgot about it. i'm going to buy this sooner or later however, i really enjoyed both the production and the vocals on here. both the once Prince Paul did and the cuts A Plus and Opio did are great, it's easy to listen front-to-back imo, maybe one or two skippables butt nothing horrible.

i laughed at the Morgan Freeman skit, it sounds exactly like him. wonder if it was, but probably not?

alot of hardcore SOM fans seemed to dislike the way Prince Paul produced this record but not being one of them i found it really enjoyable and building a good chemistry with the MCs. they should've spit a little something on the intro beat tho, that was a good one.

Prince Paul said he wanted to go back in a '90s mindstate to "create the album that logically would have followed the '93 til' infinity' LP" he said in an interview I read.
