yeah Big L had two joints like that on his debut album; "Da Graveyard" and "8 Iz Enuff".

Marley Marl's "The Symphony" is a classic of course; "Represent" by Showbiz & AG ft. Lord Finesse, Big L and Deshawn; "Got The Flava" by Show & AG ft. Party Arty, D-Flow, Wally World and Method Man; "Day One" by DITC; "The Basement" by Pete Rock & CL Smooth ft. Heavy D, InI and Deda Baby Pa; "To Each His Own" by InI ft. Large Professor and Q-Tip; "Show Business" by A Tribe Called Quest ft. Brand Nubian and Diamond D; "SCENARIO" by A Tribe Called Quest...

a few heavy joints of the top of the dome, and of course alot of the Wu-Tang shit is heavy posse cuts!

^ that's a crazy joint right there, it's on the "Goodfellas" album (which is a classic '95 LP).

oh shit i forgot about Craig Mack's "Flava In Ya Ear RMX" ft. Busta Rhymes, Biggie, LL Cool J and.. is it Keith Murray?? can't remember but that shit is fucking SLAMMING!

that "Hard Hit" track on the last DITC compilation was ill too, featuring OC, AG, D-Flow and Eddie Chebba & Tray Bag (Bo$$ Money).

Good choices by everybody, Big L damn sure had a few monster posse cuts, like 8 Iz Enuff feat. Cam, Herb McGruff, Terra, Budda Bless, Big Kwam, etc. D.I.T.C. are the masters of having alota dudes on one track and making it memorable, next to Wu Tang, Native Tongues & The Juice Crew.

I think the early to mid 90's is an era of posse cuts that we haven't seen in a looooong time, it was disgusting to witness the decline of it in the late 90's towards commercial, pop shit and focus on catchy hooks. Here's some good cuts I remember

nnEim08jnXA

Bas Blasta - The Rhythm feat. Godfather Don, JuJu of The Beatnuts, Lord Finesse & Fat Joe. came out around '93

Onyx killed it around '97 with "The Worst" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RAS4W2MUm7Y) feat Killa Sin, Meth & Rae, then Shut Em Down remix with DMX & Big Pun

Mic Geronimo - Time To Build feat. Jay-Z, Ja Rule (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Emvy4ASYTg) is still dope to me, off his 1st album The Natural

The YGz - 1st & 3rd feat. Pete Rock and some other dudes I don't know their name (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKPejsvX9uw). Pete rhymes about busting a gun on this track from 1993

Zk8gwpjvIL0
Juice Crew All Stars 1987 - feat. Roxanne, Shan, G Rap, and a slew of others. classic 80's hip hop

Shyheim feat. Rubbabandz, Smoothe, Trigger & DV Alias Khrist - What Makes The World Go Round off The Lost Generation (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c08_tph43zU)

Throughout high school I remember bumpin joints by the Native Tongues posse heavy like the Baseball song off De La Soul is Dead feat. Black Sheep, then Pass The 40 feat. Chi Ali, Chris Lighty, etc., I rode around with that in my walkman constantly.

Remember Red Hot Lover Tone with MOP, Organized Konfusion & Biggie in '94? I always thought Tone shoulda kept rhyming even though he blew up heavy in da mainstream wit Trackmasters

dat Cool J Shot Ya song took quite some time for me to truly appreciate. It was gettin banged so hard in the Streets of NY around 95 that I couldn't really listen to it til years later when the buzz calmed down. Classic song though, I still threaten my little cousin from time to time with one of Prodigy's lines from the song: "you get backslapped hard it'll make ya nose bleed"

That Crooklyn Dodgers is timeless...
it still bugs me out when I hear the original sample Premier used, one of many classic loop choice he pulled from the crates http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EToFm-lKzI8

^That Bed Rock song with Nicki Minaj, Wayne, Drake. Lloyd & them... I think that's a nice song for the more current, party-type songs. It flows well, has memorable lyrics from artists with individual personality and brings a feel good vibe.

I don't go crazy for it like the majority of other lyrical posse cuts in here, but it's nice song I can remember.

I am curious to hear how other people feel about this newer style of hip hop song making... claaa7, angry, Poetic Wun?..

Nice ones KLIION JENSEN. That 24 hours to live is pretty good, for late 90's Bad Boy shit. I remember avoiding that label's hip hop releases at the time, so if one decent lyrical song came from them, I most likely overlooked it. I need to buy that 5 Boroughs with KRS and Prodigy still

The Guru had some overlooked posse cuts in the mid 90's, most likely because the market was shifting towards more dance/commercial, indie releases like these you had to track down at Fat Beats:
