yeah, he can rap, but my favorite project pat is the early shit where he didn't try to rap, he just got in the booth and shouted about killin ppl.

like this

^ might be too real for holocaust fans, play at your own risk

That nigga may be capable of good shit, but he makes some of the worst music I have ever heard sometimes. Some of his hooks are among the absolute worst in hip-hop history. "Slob On My Knob Like Corn On The Cobb"

Slob on My Knob was Juicy J.

Project Pat is underrated as a lyricist. He has great storytelling abilities and his flow is ridiculous and original.

Project Pat can be one of the best when he wants to be (I think he's past his prime). Mista Don't Play, Murderers and Robbers, The Killa Klan Kaze album, Ghetty Green, Layin da Smackdown: all classics. He's always sort of reminded me as a southern Sean Price (not lyrically, subject matter wise and physically). Always talkin about robbin someone lol. He's the best when it comes to stories about robbin and killin. Like a southern Ghostface or Slick Rick. Sometimes his shit's really simplistic though. Only problem I have with him.

Another favorite

Alcatraz, you've gotta be kidding me that you think Project Pat is a good rapper and a few of you other people on here that like Project Pat hahahahahahahahahahahaha. He's a terrible rapper. The thing that saves his albums sometimes from being shitty is the beats. Mista Don't Play is the only album of his i like. The last song on that album is the shit. I forgot the song title but it has Three 6 Mafia and that ugly bitch(LOL) that rapped with him on Chickenheadz song. What's her name?

gangsta boo is a real niggerette to the bone; la chat is inferior in every way.

12-27-2009, 12:49 PM
^True. Gangsta Boo was fine back in the days. La Chat always looked like Project Pat's twin.

Dope how he went back n forth between the rapist and the victim

12-28-2009, 07:02 PM

Yeah! You Know the Biss is one of the illest samples used in hip hop history. And Gorilla Pimp is just gully. "I broke the bitch's jaw"

Yep. I'm pretty sure they've used it on another song too. They're big Willie Hutch fans.

Red Rum is too ill. My favorite song/verse on that album tho is Lord Infamous' verse on the title track "Murderers & Robbers"

"Scarecrow, demonic schizophrenic hell dwella, pieces of decomposed bodies'll fill up the bloody drawers down in my cellar, I need to quit drinkin the liquor and chiefin the blizzunts that's full of the reefer but we are the intoxicated suspects it may be the reason why I feel these nigga must bleed"

One of the best beats of all time.

the ONLY cats from the south i fucks with is 3 6 Mafia. i know project pat aint part of it but close enough.

i just have a problem with the southern style of hip hop, 3 6 is more unique then the rest of the south imo, there sound is different and there sounds are just overall better and original.

a lot of southern shit is the same imo, same drum loops and same synths but that my opinion. and really they just flooded the market so everything would sound the same, but 3 6 has managed to be creative.

I'll take their satanic shit anyday. The new 6 is doing songs with flo rida and good charlotte. It's depressing.
