It's true, many notable MCs guested on an already established artists album. I guess what separates true greats from sidekicks or people who you may forget later is their ability to grow and find their own musical identity. Another discussion is who people think is the greatest MC ever to guest appear with another great out of all these ones you guys mentioned.

Speaking on Pun appearing on Fat Joe's early work, anyone heard Fat Joe rhyming on Ultimate Force's debut album? It's funny to hear him so young rhyming like he's in high school without a care in the world, after listening to him as a gangsta from the Bronx so many years. He was on 1 or 2 songs.
Shortie No Mas was a favorite of mine, guest appearing with the great De La Soul on Buhloone Mind State, I'm waiting for her to drop some new music. She's a cute light-skinned girl with a nice voice. Seems like too many female MCs get caught up in regular life too easy and don't carry on with their rap career. www.myspace.com/shortienomas
wasnt dre a part of the world class wreckin cru though, rather than just featuring?
