when i brought up the whole spirit thing i remember a lot of ppl saying what essentially boiled down to the energy running through you causing you to live and giving you consciousness can never be destroyed cause energy can't be destroyed, so that energy, being your spirit, will live forever in the universe.

this was probably the most valid argument made and it was SID i believe that was the main advocate of it.


i replied by saying that the energy that is in you or operating you doesn't get destroyed but you never have the 'same energy' in your body through your life.

you can get it from food and water and your body produces and burns in but its never unique and therefore can't be your spirit cause its non unique to you and is never the same twice. Also, when you die it will obviously leave your body but not remain intact as you, just disburse randomly as just energy. also, if you this energy is a part of your consciousness then why do you have no conscious connection from the steam that raises from your shit on a snowing winters eve cause this is the same energy that is in you that has already left your body before you die.

if this energy is your spirit, then to machines like coffee makers and computers have a spirit? if a computer is on, and you destroy that computer with a hammer all of a sudden, and the energy leaves it, does it remain intact floating around the universe as 'the computer' or is it just random energy.

OK if we really want to sink our teeth into this discussion you have to make sure your definition of "energy" and mine is mutual.

There are different types of energy obviously, there's kinetic, nuclear, gravitational aswell as metaphysical energies, but what is energy overall in a broad sense?

I would say it is a fuel, something that gives life, like nuclear gives power, it gives light, gravity sustains life, so that being said i would say our "energy" aka aura aka spirit aka consciousness aka lifeforce is a fuel, a fuel like you said comes and goes throughout our life.

Sometimes you have an abundence of "spirit" of energy of awareness and sometimes your left in darkness, that's just human nature, its up to the individual to make sure there fully fueled for their journey into the universe.

I recommended the Tibetan book of the dead and still do, because it has a scientifiic realistic view of life after death and how to achieve it, none of the heaven hell purgagtory god in mans image judging sins mythology.

You have to cultivate your spirit your consciousness your "energy" in preperation for the seperation of your consciousness from your vessel of flesh, energy comes and goes depending on shit you go through and what not which is true.

The Tibetan book of the dead realizes that not all will survive the death of the human body, because they never spent the time preparing their soul and they never built up the consciousness they never meditated on the source and purpose of human life they just watched Chelsea daily and bought a thai takeaway every friday.

Basically if people don't work on their mind, they don't realize their potential death will be final their energy wont be strong enough to disperse as one it will scatter and when that happens their consciousness dies and when that happens there's no coming back.

Basically treat your energy and chi flow like a garden keep it pruned watered and trimmed, if you want to be one with the one.
