seems like there's a number of slept on releases nowadays, but not many really mind-blowing ones that show a strong effort or break new creative ground. I guess in today's industry, some dope albums get lost due to lack of promo and oversaturation online.

To add on, I really liked Ghostface's new album, that showed a strong musical effort even though it wasn't dark and grimy like his previous projects.

but not many really mind-blowing ones

Any mention of an absolute classic hip hop album released this year by a major source, network or pioneer of hip hop culture? If so let me know...

The 2009 lists by everyone here is great but sometimes I get tired of other people throwing random names of single albums around like it's nothing, lowering the standards of music
