Ringing Bells

Made in Brooklyn

Masta Killa

Bronze Nazareth

Uh-huh.. uh-huh

(Masta Killa)

You take at face value, how fast the light travel
It's heaven sent, gift from the universe
Blessings, tiding offerings
There's no compromising the truth
It might blow the roof off, exposing the germ tapeworm
Poison animal eaters; you must learn
Let me teach you how to see through six
Rise above the mist, the naked eye can hardly detect
When I'm in effect, live and direct
It's the East New York section of Brooklyn
Banging ass beat, make you wanna freak techniques
Display the arts, sword swinging piercing the heart
Sharp as a nigga on prom night, we strike with a vengeance
Giving y'all the maximum sentence
Each sentence like a time line, for you to define
How the rhyme coincide and relate, to my last tape
No Said Date, say it loud, y'all I'm black and I'm proud
To crack your fucking back, off of any form of disrespect
To my Nation, cheese I'm raising, paper chasing
For the God Degree, guaranteed to disassemble any MC
Steppin' in the place to be, off the head, I wrote this one in red
For the blood of all my people that shed it, for the cause
I microphone rip, so swift

(Dr. Benjamin Muhammad sample)

What is Justice?
Justice is the law that distinguishes between right and wrong
What then is Justice, that we may do Justice?
The face of a killer is your face, my face, our face

(Masta Killa)

This first M.C. law, he swore to make the crowd roar
Came up through the floor, drew his mic from his hip and began
To squeeze clip, son said "don't kill 'em as quick"
Let him do tray, palm stay eighteen j'
Who made it possible for you to witness?
First born, built to weather the storm
Beez swarm like a hundred women scorn
This is warnin' to the people, we ship the Sour Diesel
Through the Caroline Distribution, pipeline, spark your equal
Party people, as the rhyme makes it's final descent
To the pavement, we laced it, keeping it basic
Who is this, Irief Jamel, ring bells throughout the city
A few know him well, description; black male
With the Universal Flag drippin' off his lapel

(Dr. Benjamin Muhammad sample)

God is the number one killer
He out killed Genghis Khan, Kublai Khan
Pamalane, yes, he did
He out killed Hitler, out killed Mussolini, out killed Napoleon
When God gets ready to kill, he wipes, total, complete
God the Killer...

Classic - heard this way before MIB dropped. Which is a shame as its probably the best thing on that (very very strange - but pretty good in a funny sort of way) lp. I was hoping Bronze would have had more production work on MIB too.

The video is worth a watch like. Talk about false advertising with the attractive lady at the start (but hey - it worked - I clicked play). It's thereaftyer the lamest gay ass video I've ever seen. Total classic!!!!
