I knew this one guy who used to hook me up with all of his white labels, all his rare vinyls (in mp3), i used to bang the fuck outta them joints, real hard shit. This sucks. I havent been checking for him recently, idk what his last release was, but Iused to love all his hard to find underground shit. Always kept it street, one of the few remainined real NY hood rappers still putting out work.

Very sad news that Queens veteran Sha Lumi has passed away due to complications with his diabetes. Look out for a full tribute to the man shortly, but you can read about his legacy here in the meantime:

Peace to Killa Sha, I never knew him but may he rest in peace. It's unfortunate like many other hip hop members and people of the ghetto who have passed too soon. I'll be checking Halftime Radio on WNYU this Wednesday where I'm sure DJ Eclipse will do a good job in honoring his life

co-sign this, the healthcare system in the states is fucked, if you don't have money on a big boy level, your federally fucked, true story, human being brother's and sisters shouldn't be dying of diabetes at his age, i'd put money on this, i'd put p's on it like, get me, if that brother was over here in the uk, he would be still be alive, trust me on that,
i have three relatives(including my dad) who have diabetes but are all ok, in there 40's and upwards in the uk, my relatives in z(zambia in africa) who had diabetes are all resting in peace due to complications from the disease, rip to em, you see what i'm saying, you see what i'm getting at, rip to killa sha too, thats some sad shit

^ word i was spinning "God Walk On Water" as soon as i woke up this morning. the man definitely had alot of talent, i know he spoke on an album he recorded with Marley Marl that never got released. hopefully they will do his legacy justice by releasing things like that!

The US healthcare system strikes again.
Diabetes is at an all time high amongst black males, and black males are the highest demographic for diabetes in the US. Its a treatable disease in most leading countries, but in America, if your poor and cant afford it, its actually life threatening. America is strangely 3rd world in alot of ways.
If Sha was living in Europe or Canada or even Cuba, he would still be alive right now.
