... and I realized that there is a song by ghost that uses the exact same or somewhat similar sample. I been trying to find the damn song all morning but no luck.


What is it? I think it was on Pretty Toney, SC or Ironman.

nah, it's not from Ironman homie...it's from Supreme Clientele, a joint called "The Grain" that features The Rza....

Q-Tip used the sample in a much more subtle way in his version, here's the list pf all the samples used on "Public Enemy":

"Bounce, Rock, Skate, Roll" by Vaughan Mason & Crew (from the 1981 album "Bounce, Rock, Skate, Roll")
"Pity for the Lonely" by Luther Ingram (from the 1972 album "I've Been Here All the Time")
"Communications is Where It's At" by Billy Baron
"Do the Funky Penguin" by Rufus Thomas
