off top
"3 amigos"
"planes, trains, & automobiles"

it just seems like the 80es produced the funniest movies

this past decade i laughed my ass off watching:
"Hot Rod"
"the hangover"
"anchor man"

best comedic actor of the decade actor Will Ferrell
best stand up of the decade Dave Chappell

Kenny Powers

oh hell yeah hot rod
but why no mel brooks? history of the world, young frankenstein, and especially blazing saddles are funny as shit every time.

still haven't seen the hangover, but everyone sure fucking loves it

alot of those 80's spoofs you guys mentioned were mad funny, I think the 80's in general is an era of comedy in American movies that stands out from any other time.

Ferris Bueller is the funniest movie I can think of, but I haven't seen some of the ones mentioned above like Don't Be A Menace, that reminds me...I really need to get caught up on The Wayans' movies.

then this one:

National Lampoon's Loaded Weapon 1 - If you like Airplane or the Naked Gun movies check it out.
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
I Spy - fuck the haters, I loved this movie

Naked Guns, Superbad, Anchorman, Dumb And Dumber, Clerks, The Hangover.

Even though I'm British (which shouldn't have much to do with it anyway) I just didn't find the Monty Python films that funny. Yeah, they have a few funny jokes here and there but it's not a non-stop laugh fest, I guess it's just me.

Looks like a lot of these movies mentioned have either Jim Carrey, Chevy Chase, or Steve Martin, for good reasons

02-11-2010, 04:23 AM
Yea, no Dan Aykroyd movies?...oh that's right, he isn't funny.
