hah I cant believe I watched 5 minutes of that, I didnt even know what was going on...

DOOM 3 at 3am high as fuck with headphones... OOOGA BOOGGA

Resident Evil made me jump a couple of times ( the first time i walked over a zombie I had "killed" and it grabbed me or got up and startted RUNNING, i shit myself )

Clock Tower was really trippy

Eternal Darkness ... YO this game was fucked, I tripped out while playing this hidden gem... walls would start bleeding, the tv would mute or get all fuzzy, even turn off... crazy hallucinations. Random events that almost made you question reality haha, it was very effective. I dont even remeber wat this game is about or how far i got , i jus know it fucked me up

AvP 1 and 2 were gritty. Had some real intense moments

It's been awhile since a game has put any fear in me.. I am missing alot of classics and a couple new games tho

Doom 3 by far, I jumped so many times when playing that game. The second play-through is not the same though.

Yeah Doom 3 for sure, also the dream sequences in the Max Payne games. The random screams and baby noises were creepy as.

I recently downloaded ps3 demos of FEAR2 and Resident Evil 5.

They're pretty creepy IMO.

I agree on Doom, the first-person perspective of the game puts you in a state of panic and suspense, also the sound effects when you hear things happening far off in the distance.

Resident Evil Nemesis is pretty scary, especially when dealing with Nemesis himself, that's one of the most intimidating villians I've fought in a game.

Taking it back to 80's Nintendo: Metroid was the first scary game I played, but the graphics and sound then weren't enough to scare me like a movie as the games of today do now.

the old resident evil on game cube or even far back as Nintendo 64, the sound of the dogs breaking through the glass when it was just real quiet, shit moved me more than a little.

I had crimson butterfly on PS2 but I think they were on xbox as well, they're good games but totally different from what you're used to as you only have the camera obscura

bioshock was scary just being underwater fighting big daddies and those ppl that are addicted to adam or eve were freaking me out especially the guy that could teleport he was more annoying than scary.

Dead Space is pretty mean! None of the recent "corridor surivival horror" game can compare!

those "Regenerators" and "iron maidens" at the last stage of Resident evil 4 always freaks me out

Thief Deadly Shadows has the scariest level in ANY game ever. The rest of the game itself isnt really scary, though it is incredibly atmospheric but the second last level is seriously shit scary.

Its called 'Robbing The Cradle', and being a stealth game you have to sneak around in an abandoned burnt out orphanage/mental asylum. It was both....AT THE SAME TIME.

Seriously, look this level up it had me more scared than the whole of Silent Hill 2 which is one of the scariest games i have played.

I would post a video of it from youtube but you should really play the level yourself first, it's one of best experiences in gaming imo. 8O

Can't believe I forgot this! I find those "Project zero/fatal frame" games scary as hell! I can't even finish the games! I find the whole Asian ghost thingees really scary.
